Telecom Cook Islands is happy to announce that the 49c peak prepay calling rate is now permanent. The reduction in cost from 79c to 49c will provide even more value to our customers through lower calling costs.

Our prepay customers can make mobile calls for only 49c and have even more freedom to get connect and efficiently communicate. We expect the saving of 30c per minute will stimulate more calling and enable customers to use this as a means to achieving greater communication.

Over the past 12 months we have extended the reach of our mobile service to cover almost all of the Cook Islands. Penrhyn and Rakahanga remain the final 2 islands to have GSM Mobile launched on them, and these should be in place by the end of the year. Extending our new prepay peak calling service even further.
