Telecom improves Mobile & TV coverage

On 13 May 2011, a team of Telecom’s technicians and engineers, along with David Robinson from Spunlite Ltd of Christchurch, NZ, constructed and erected the $33,000.00 tower to improve coverage in the area. The mobile coverage for this area was temporarily served from the 15m Airport Authority tower around the back road in Kiikii. Telecom expects to transfer this service to the new tower before the end of the week.
